Βiography

Helen Psarrou...Born in Athens to Halandri 23 September 1986. In 1993 she moves with her family in the beautiful Cycladic Island of island of Naxos; the same year was founded an  academy on the island "Ariadneio Conservatory"; the trip to the music starts.

So when she became eight years old, she entered the class classical piano with teacher Joanna Matrogiannopoulou - Avagianou. Shortly afterwards, at age eleven she began accordion lessons.

From 1993 to 2004 she will remain as a student at the conservatory Ariadneio. She takes part in all the concerts as an active member of the orchestra and chorus with many partnerships within the conservatoir, educational and artistic context of the island. In 2003 at age of seventeen she begins partnership with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Naxos. Result of this collaboration was to give her the opportunity to meet for first time with song. The study, technique, research and the repertoire started in 1998 within the framework of the conservatoire.

In 2004 she leaves from Naxos Island and she enters the National Conservatory of Athens. She enters the class classical piano Evi Marinakis. The years that follow, bring her together purely with classical education. She takes part in piano seminars as an active member(Natalia Michailidou, Eleni Mouzala, Βοjadzhieva Lili, Duo Ganevi - Konstantin-Julia Ganevi, Liana Charatzi and other important teachers), she follows educational seminars for the teaching of piano repertoire and technique. She is an active member of the classical choir at the National Conservatory for the period 2004 - 2005. From 2005 to 2008 she choose only to make performances as a guest to lives because of the large workload with the study of classical music. At 2006 - 2007 - 2008 she makes chamber music with Limorova Ludmila and Elias Dermitzoglou at the National Conservatory.

In 2008 gets her Harmony degree in the class of Spiros Klapsis at the National Conservatory. She gives two concerts of chamber music piano - clarinet in Attica. This year could be described creative about song. She takes place in the first song contest organized by the Kithara. At the same year, she worked with associations and dance bands in Athens and Naxos and she gives performances with the band "Kato Zo". In the summer of 2008 she gives concerts of classical piano and performs works by great classical composers Johann Sebastian Bach - Frédéric Chopin - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Enrique Granados - Ludwig van Beethoven in the theater of the Municipality of Naxos Iakovos kambanelis and she is working with Carousel.

In 2009 - 2010 with the band "Kato Zo" she participates in live repertoire made ​​with Entechna and traditional music scenes with symrnaieka in Athens. The band in mid-2010 dissolves. In 2009 - 2010 follows Counterpoint attending to the teacher and composer Philip Tsalachouris.

In 2010 she met the accordionist Margaret Basta and gave performaces in music scenes of Athens. In 2011 is solved their cooperation and she decided to start studio recordings. In 2011 a good friend, Chris Patriarcheas give his own lyrics, resulting in a new partnership has begun. She believes…
